I think the picture says it all. Jack’s not too sure about the sauce… perhaps they spiked it for the birthday to liven things up?
Jack’s a good boy though, he doesn’t do the hard stuff – like ‘sauce’.

We officially have timber on the slab! The roof should be on in a week or two!

The new entrance deck
I’m probably getting a little ahead of myself here seeing as we haven’t even got a house at the mo, but I’m building a new deck leading up to the entrance. It’ll have fern gardens on the side and be illuminated underneath. Nice!

Jack went to Chipmunks for a birthday lunch with one of his mates. Had a great time and ate lots of junk food.

The Slab gets Prepped!
Although looking at the pictures below, it may seem hard to believe, apparently the new place will be finished ready to move in about 4-5 weeks from now! These guys work fast!!
Below is the toilet/bathroom area showing the new plumbing and bathroom extension on the right. Tricky stuff! The bath sits over the shingle pile on the right. The 3 lots of upright pipes from the left are shower, toilet vanity and bathroom vanity.
The 4x short pipes below on the right (behind the rubble) are under the hot water cylinder in the hall cupboard.
Below shows the tweaks to the edges of the slab. To meet the new Fraemohs design style, they had to remove all the inset edges.
Crash! There goes our house!
As some of you may know, our house was written off through damage caused by the Sept 4th Christchurch earthquake. Thanks to our awesome insurer, Westpac (Lumley), a new house is being built over the next 2 months.
Here’s some good destruction action!

Awesome Fiordland Trip!
I was lucky and blessed enough to be given the opportunity to go tramping with Gavin and some old mates on the Milford Track in Fiordland in Jan.
I went with Gavin, Darren, Gareth, Leigh, Simon and Annette. Awesome bunch of people who have all played a part in my life at some point. It was a great trip, and although the legs are a little sore, I’m glad I made the effort. Looking forward to another trip again in the near future!
It just drove home to me that life is too short to pass up opportunities and we need to get out there and experience things while we can!

Jack’s Parade Ride!
Jackson was in the Leeston Santa parade the other day so Sarah and I popped over to check it out and cheer him on. He did great and loved it! I think he was a ‘Super Bat Man Tractor Driver’??
