We took off for a drive with the kids to Pigeon Bay but Livvy had other ideas. She did a full on car sick power chuck in Sarah’s new car.

With no spare clothes, we detoured to Akaroa and got a cheap shirt and pants. Had fish and chips, walked around in the blustery wind, checked out the lighthouse and drove home. Was a nice day!

How’s this for a good night time pose. Jack often tries new sleeping methods and I love when we can catch them on camera.

We popped up to Kowhai Bush the other day with Si and Jane. Simon and I taught the kids how to build a dam! Retro fun times hey!

Jack’s solo mission in the tent. He did all night by himself to proving to me he’s brave enough to go camping for real!

Jane, Simon, Zach and Jed came down for Christmas this year (and New Years). We loved hanging out with them and the kids had a blast (when not killing each other.

Jack’s 5th birthday today! Look at these two gooses! That’s Jack’s friend Kade… Filled up on sugar, lollies and ice cream and they’re starting to lose their marbles!

I can’t believe our wee boy turns 5 tomorrow! How amazing is that? This is a pic of how excited he was tonight about his birthday tomorrow!

My boy Jackson is growing up fast! Last night he cooked the bbq for the family and did a fantastic job!
