We found a nice spot on the river for lunch and a swim
Jack having too much fun in the water and looking cheeky… I think he needs some water pistol action.

“Gotcha Jack! – Take that!”

“Oh No! He’s coming after me!”

I took Sarah and Jack to the Hurunui river for a nice family day out. We all did some fishing, Jack had a swim and it was a great day. Sarah also got a chance to try her new pink fishing rod.

Just a few nice shots Sarah took of Jack. He’s such a happy kid…

Christmas day at the Stones was pretty cruisy. Jack got a heap of prezzies, we had a nice breakfast, lunch at the Vivs, afternoon at Leslies and dinner at the Hodges! Missed the Auckland family but still a nice day.
Jack’s huge stash of goodies!

We had Christmas lunch at the Viv’s this year. Was a great time, good company, good food and the kids had a blast! Here’s Jack showing Ella how to use the Slip-n-Slide!
Ella riding her new purple bike! I think she really likes it. Shouldn’t take too long to get the hang of it.

Grace being cute as usual

Jack’s Daycare (Selwyn Toddlers) put on the annual Christmas play. Jack did his bit, until he spotted us – then needed a cuddle

I spent Friday fishing the Opihi river with Karl, an industry mate and another creative. Was a great day, we saw a large number of fish. Karl landed a few and I had plenty chase the fly. The water was crystal clear and very little wind. I need to do this more often!
